The United States is Australia’s largest investment partner, its second largest two-way trade partner and a key technology partner. While China is Australia’s largest trade partner in terms of exports and imports, the United States is Australia’s leading economic partner across a number of areas and there is a high degree of integration of the Australian and US economies.
