Election Watch kicked off with its first event for the 2016 US presidential race! Punters at the Manning Bar watched the top ten Republican presidential candidates square off in the first televised debate of the 2016 US Presidential race!

The Centre hosted a live screening for students, staff, and members of the public, with a chance to ask our academics questions and get their hot takes after the proceedings.

The debate featured billionaire Donald Trump, who led the polls by a commanding margin and has grabbed headlines for provocative comments on a range of issues.
