USSC Non-Resident Senior Fellow Bruce Wolpe speaks to ABC The World Today about former president Donald Trump's comments about Australian Ambassador to the United States Kevin Rudd.
Wolpe says Australia will have to take the comments "very seriously" as previous criticisms of Trump by world leaders will "factor into his thinking" if he is re-elected. Nevertheless, Wolpe says Australia did "an excellent job" of managing the Australia-US relationship during Trump's presidential term and would seek to do so again if he secures another term in office.
