USSC Senior Research Associate Alice Nason spoke to TaiwanPlus News [at 2.20] about former president Donald Trump's statements on foreign policy in the Trump-Harris debate, including his refusal to say that he wants Ukraine to defeat Russia.
"For allies and partners in Asia with time honoured concerns about the consistency of US support, his refusal to [back Ukraine] undercuts some of the work that the Biden administration has done to date, in building back confidence in the US' desire to show up for allies and partners," said Nason.
