Professor Laura E. Little is the James G. Schmidt Professor of Law at Temple University Law School in Philadelphia, USA, specialising in US Free Speech Law, US Constitutional Law, and Conflict of Laws (Private International Law). She has lectured on these subjects around the world and is the author of 6 sole-authored books focusing on topics such as freedom of expression, constitutional law, as well as humour and the law. Before entering academia, Professor Little practised law in Philadelphia (representing the print media on freedom of expression concerns) and served as a law clerk to the Chief of the United States, Chief Justice Rehnquist of the US Supreme Court.

Rodney Taveira is the Academic Director, Undergraduate Coordinator, and a Senior Lecturer in American Studies at the United States Studies Centre. He teaches across the American Studies program and his research areas include contemporary American fiction, film and television, the interrelation of literature and visual culture, humour, and post-World War II American cultural politics
