The United States Studies Centre hosted our annual Thanksgiving celebration. We provided a North American Thanksgiving feast, including everything from roast turkey, mashed potato, to apple and pumpkin pie. Students and alumni joined us for dinner in the Law Foyer, where they ate and gave thanks for a wonderful year here at the Centre, and many more to come.
We kicked off the holdiay season in traditional US style and celebrateed the harvest and fall in the heat of our Australian springtime. Atendees mingled with fellow students, alumni and staff of the Centre, and we treated this as an opportunity to relax and get to know everyone outside the academic setting.
