USSC senior economics adviser Dr John Kunkel spoke to Sky News Australia's Business Editor Ross Greenwood on President Trump's objectives as he engages in trade fights with Canada, Mexico and China.
“We are seeing a real ripple effect of policy uncertainty go through all economies in the wake of this tariff move,” Dr Kunkel said.
“I know our diplomats in Washington will be working overtime and bashing on doors to try to get a hearing, but ultimately, it’s the president who will make the call.”
