Dr Sekile Nzinga-Johnson is formerly Assistant Professor of Gender and Women's Studies at the University of Illinois-Chicago and the founding director of Nazareth College's Women and Gender Studies Bachelor of Arts Program. She is currently the Senior Program Director at the Health and Medicine Policy Research Group and the President of the Chicago Abortion Fund. She is the editor of Laboring Positions: Black Women, Mothering, and the Academy and is completing a monograph entitled Lean Semesters: The University as Hyper Producer of Inequity (Johns Hopkins).
