USSC Research Associate Ava Kalinauskas spoke to 2SER FM about Kamala Harris' liabilities as a candidate in contrast to where she has had success, notably on abortion rights.

"Harris has become the administration's primary messenger on abortion rights. She's hosted these reproductive rallies ... so it will be really interesting to see how that issue might factor into the race," said Kalinauskas.

"Harris has perhaps struggled to appeal to voters in some ways, but there are certain groups that she does better than Biden with, so this is young people, Black and Latino voters and Black women."
