USSC Non-Resident Senior Fellow Professor Benjamin Reilly spoke to ABC Radio's RN Drive program about the intricacies of the United States' Electoral College voting system.
"If you're a party ... that manages to win quite a few of the smaller states ... it wins 100% of the Electoral College votes in those states. And the cumulative effect of that has been that we get sometimes these disparities between one party, or one candidate winning the overall national vote for the whole country but not the Electoral College vote," said Professor Reilly.
