USSC Senior Non-Resident Fellow Bruce Wolpe talked to ABC Radio's AM program about why vice president Kamala Harris tapped Minnesota Governor Tim Walz to be her running mate.

"He's middle America, he's from Nebraska, he's known as safe, steady, reliable," said Wolpe.

"She needs also greater strength in the upper Midwest. That's Minnesota, where the governor is, Wisconsin and Michigan. And Walz can certainly help out there."
