USSC CEO Dr Michael Green spoke to ABC TV about the Democratic National Convention in Chicago and Kamala Harris' momentum heading into the presidential election.

"[Kamala Harris] is now tied or ahead [of Trump] in most of the key swing states ... but within the margin of error, so it's really still very, very close," said Dr Green.

"She really has a lot of momentum, but politics is unforgiving and I think she will start to hit some headwinds and it's going to end up being ... a very close election."
