Russia has recalled its United States ambassador after a damning US intelligence report that accuses the Kremlin of interference with the 2020 election. It marks a recent low in relations between Moscow and Washington, with US President Joe Biden labelling his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, a killer during an interview on national television. Dr Jennifer Hunt is a lecturer in security studies at Macquarie University and a Non-Resident Fellow at the United States Studies Centre at the University of Sydney. She spoke to ABC NewsRadio.
