USSC Director of Foreign Policy and Defence Professor Peter Dean was featured in an article in The Australian about Australia's growing role as an important US military base.

“We now have the largest concentration of US forces here since World War II, and it has been absolutely critical to our security given China’s rise,” said Professor Dean.
