Donald Trump will stand trial in March next year on charges of trying to overturn his 2020 presidential election defeat. The March 4, 2024 date is one day before voters across more than a dozen US states will cast their ballot to choose the Republican presidential candidate. USSC Research Director Jared Mondschein tells ABC The World it's unlikely Trump will be able to appeal whether the trial can take place at a later date.
