USSC Director of Foreign Policy and Defence Professor Peter Dean was featured in an article in the Australian Financial Review about plans to increase the number of US troops and rotations in Australia, announced at the AUSMIN talks.
“The announcement about more frequent rotations to Australia by US air and maritime domain assets across Australia’s north … is a significant point about Australia being developed as a key base of operations for the United States in Indo-Pacific and enhancing regional deterrence,” said Professor Dean.
