Gabrielle Woodger

Gabrielle is currently in her second year of studying a Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Advanced studies, majoring in Politics and Sociology.

As a Dalyell Scholar and 2024 Dalyell Scholar Student Representative, Gabby passionately advocates for students in the arts and social sciences. She has worked with other representatives to design the Dalyell Career Acceleration Program, which encourages Dalyell Scholars build on their graduate skills, gain experience in their respective fields, and improve the Dalyell Scholar Stream.

Gabby finds time to explore her passion for popular culture and fandom as a reporter for Honi Soit, the University of Sydney’s student-led newspaper. She also loves to read literary fiction, draw, crochet and craft.

Gabby is interested in studying the fascinating intersections between politics, society, identity, culture and media. She is excited to explore these topics through her work as a Student Intern with the wonderful United States Study Centre research team.
