In an interview with Sky News Australia, Non-Resident Fellow James Brown said the passing of the $1.9 trillion US stimulus package showed that President Biden "has the ability to get legislation through".

“That’s going to be something that’s something very significant for his agenda, he’s not a president hamstrung by not having control of the House and the Senate," Mr Brown told Sky News.
