USSC Non-Resident Senior Fellow Bruce Wolpe speaks to ABC Overnights about the current Congressional debate over aid to Ukraine. Wolpe views the recent death of Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny as a potential inflection point in the Ukraine debate, which is currently being held in the Republican-led House of Representatives.
Wolpe observes that Navalny’s death is “another black mark against Putin,” and says that it gives Biden a “powerful argument” to make about aid to Ukraine, which he will likely reference in his upcoming State of the Union address.
