USSC Research Associate Ava Kalinauskas spoke to Hobart Drive on ABC Radio about Vice President Kamala Harris' performance in her first televised debate with former president Donald Trump; including her focused messaging on abortion.
"For Harris, abortion is one of her strongest issues, it's an issue that Americans trust her more on compared to Trump," said Kalinauskas.
"She spoke about these Trump 'abortion bans' she called them ... and she reiterated this pledge that she's made repeatedly to the American people that if Congress sends her a bill that will reinstate the protections of Roe [v. Wade], that she would actually sign it into law."
