USSC CEO Dr Michael Green was interviewed on NHK WORLD-JAPAN's Deeper Look program about outgoing Prime Minister Fumio Kishida's legacy; the evolution of the US-Japanese alliance; and what comes next with the Japanese leadership race.
"When I talk to [US] officials ... what they really want is for the next Japanese prime minister to be strong, confident, visible on the world stage and committed to implementing the work that is left to be done in the US-Japan alliance," said Dr Green.
