USSC Senior Non-Resident Fellow Bruce Wolpe talked to ABC TV's Afternoon Briefing about President Joe Biden's farewell speech at the United Nations General Assembly and the latest in the presidential election race.

"At the national level I think it's clear that Kamala Harris has a very narrow but consistent lead, but the national level does not determine the election - it's the swing states," said Wolpe.

"What we've seen is stubborn Trump support in the Sun Belt states, Georgia, North Carolina, Arizona.

"But [Harris] also has a stubborn edge in the industrial 'Blue Wall' Midwest states ... so it's still extremely tight."
