Biography
Annabel is a student intern with the Public Affairs program at the United States’ Consulate in Sydney.
Annabel is currently in her third year at the University of Sydney, studying a Bachelor of Arts/Advanced Studies, majoring in American Studies, Politics and International Relations. In November of 2024, she looks forward to attending the USSC’s Presidential Tour to Washington and California.
As a Politics student, Annabel is fascinated with both Australian and American politics and culture. This has manifested in her time interning and volunteering with the Hon. Allegra Spender MP and researching for media company Missing Perspectives.
She has a specific interest in American foreign policy and the alliance between the US and Australia, winning the USSC and US Consulate’s Foreign Policy Award in 2023. Annabel looks forward to exploring these intersections throughout her internship at the US Consulate.
