USSC Director of Foreign Policy and Defence Professor Peter Dean was featured in an article in the Australian Financial Review about the need for unity at NATO in the face of growing geopolitical threats.

“What we don’t want in Ukraine is the lesson to be taken away by other authoritarian regimes like China, Iran and North Korea that these tactics of force and threats of force and nuclear coercion will be successful,” said Professor Dean.

“The Australian government, NATO, and others need to be more direct in calling out the level of co-operation they are undertaking.”
