USSC Senior Non-Resident Fellow Bruce Wolpe was featured in an article in the Sun-Herald about Vice President Kamala Harris' background, her political rise and the challenges she now faces defeating Republican nominee Donald Trump.
Wolpe said the election will be decided by the equivalent of Australian "teal voters" in the United States, or: "women who live in the suburbs, who care about issues like abortion and the environment and clean government, and also disaffected Republicans who did not vote for Trump in the Republican primaries this year.”
