Rowena Braddock

Rowena Braddock is an Honours graduate in arts and law from the University of Sydney.
Having returned to Sydney from a number of years spent teaching at the University of Paris VII she is completing her PhD in the Department of Gender and Cultural Studies on the relation of literature and philosophy, with specific emphasis on the concepts of hospitality and the animal in the work of French philosopher Jacques Derrida.
Rowena has recently published articles on the Louis Andriessen and Peter Greenaway multi-media opera "Writing to Vermeer".
