Mark Cridland

Deputy Director-General (Policy and Planning), Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads


Mark Cridland is the Deputy Director-General (Policy and Planning) for the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads with responsibility for Strategic Policy; Integrated Transport Planning; Road Safety and System Management; Rail, Ports and Freight and Passenger Transport. He also serves on the Board of Management and the Infrastructure Investment Committee and on the board of CNI Pty Ltd responsible for delivering Australia's largest road infrastructure project, the $3.4 billion Airport Link. Cridland was previously head of TransLink's Planning & Infrastructure Group where he led the planning and delivery of over $3 billion of infrastructure and services.

Mark was a panellist at the US Studies Centre's City of the Future conference.
