Jonathan Bradley is a Sydneysider who washed up on the shores of the U.S. Studies Centre in 2008 with a conviction it could help him understand that labyrinthine ziggurat known as the United States of America. He lived in the U.S. for a while, back in 2004 and 2005, studying at the University of Western Washington, and although that residency was enough to pique his interest, he came back home to Australia with far more questions than answers. Jonathan has since staked his path out as a journalist and blogger, and his writing has appeared in the Sydney Morning Herald, the L.A. Weekly and Stylus Magazine. He loves American cultural detritus, cities, and the Pacific North-West, but he spends most of his time arguing about politics. To relax, he likes to argue about rap music.
