Asian white paper sends "strong signals abroad"

CEO Bates Gill says Australia's newly released white paper, Australia in the Asian Century, is remarkable in its scope and scale, and is pitched at both domestic and international audiences. The United States plays a comparatively small role in the paper though, and the US is not undertaking the same strategic effort as Australia to understand its role in the region.
