Fellowship recognises excellence in research

US Studies Centre chief executive Professor Geoffrey Garrett has been elected a fellow of the Academy of the Social Sciences in Australia. This election is in recognition of his eminent commentary on US politics, economics and foreign policy, and his widely published works. ASSA is an autonomous, non-governmental organisation, devoted to the advancement of knowledge and research in the various social sciences.
