US needs Pakistan for Afghan withdrawl

Thousands of Pakistani truck drivers are set to resume key NATO supply convoys into Afghanistan after the State Department expressed regret for the deaths of 24 Pakistani soldiers in a drone strike in November. Research associate Tom Switzer says this is an important diplomatic move that will assist the US withdrawal from Afghanistan but may not play well domestically.
