On the third anniversary of the Black Saturday Victorian bushfire disaster, Richard Glover speaks to Professor Edward Blakely from the United States Studies Centre about how Australian disaster response compares to the handling of Hurricane Katrina in 2005. Prof. Blakely also describes the rebuilding process and his own personal experience of natural disasters.
