Barry Jackson was special guest at a Business Leadership Forum hosted by the United States Studies Centre and Allens Arthur Robinson. Jackson served from 2007 to 2009 as the Assistant to the President for Strategic Initiatives and External Affairs at the White House. In this role, Barry managed the White House offices of Political Affairs, Public Liaison, Intergovernmental Affairs, and Strategic Initiatives.
