The United States Studies Centre hosted the second National Summit in June 2009. The topic of Plenary Session 3 was "Labour and human rights: Can we afford them in a global financial crisis?" and featured Andrew Hewett, Margaret Levi, Tony Maher and Jaye Radisich.
