Ethical supply chains: An executive roundtable

Hosted by the US Studies Centre and the NSW Department of State and Regional Development, the objectives of the Ethical Supply Chains executive roundtable were to inform Australian leaders about cutting edge business action and academic research in ethical supply chains and to catalyze a conversation on strategies for adapting and implementing notions of ethical supply chains in Australia.

The event featured a keynote address by Dan Henkle, Senior Vice President of Global Responsibility, Gap Inc. on "Improving factory and labour conditions for sourced products" with a response by Ian Basser, Managing Director & CEO, Chandler Macleod Group. Professor Michael Hiscox from Harvard University spoke about "Ethical supply chains research" and Sam Mostyn, Executive Director of the Institute for Sustainable Solutions at the University of Sydney moderated a roundtable discussion on the topic.
